Dragon 88 premiered its Curve Collection at the jury selected International Contemporary Furniture Show in New York (ICFF), May 19-22 at the Jacob Javits Center, Booth 1413. Dragon 88's Curve Collection is a curvilinear look that is dramatic and sexy featured in red mohair in a sofa, chair and chaise styles. The sleek pieced coffee table is shown in white leather with a pair of square ottomans. The pillows are with pearls on silk, red mohair and a touch of mink.

The furniture collection is available in ultrasuede in a rich array of solids and prints. Another important look is the woven bamboo, cane, and sisal shown upholstered with leather or as trims.

The Glamour Pillow Collection is inspired by the Deco Period. The decorative nature of the period is captured with pearls, feathers, beading and fur. The pearls are on silk with a square, globe and neckroll pillow styles. Dramatic feathers decorate mohair and crepe pillows. The fur pillows are shown with beaded buttons and tassels shown with luxurious throws.

The Glamour Girl and Deco Girl Collections are inspired by the Shanghai girls of the twenties that modeled for advertisements for make-up, liquor and cigarettes. The Glamour Girls are executed two different ways: screened on bamboo raffia with red velvet and beaded cord and tassels and bordered with mink with gold tassels.

The Landscape Pillow Collection are screened images of woodblock prints done by the Japanese artists Ando Hiroshige and Katsushika Hokusai during the Edo Period on reed raffia with royal velvet borders, and beaded cord and tassels. The landscapes are very spiritual and the images of the mountains and water are the openings to spiritual places of enlightenment.

Dragon 88's signature look is modern and exotic with a touch of whimsy. The inspiration of this season's entire collection was the opulent twenties especially, Oriental Deco. The importance of color, embellishment and cultural art play an integral part in this season's design.

Dragon 88 showcases its exclusive collections and an extensive library of styles for custom development. Currently, the furniture collection is a total of 60 styles of sofas, chairs, tables, ottomans and bed frames. The swatch program is comprised of crepes, velvets, mohair, leather, embossed leather, ultra suede, calfskin, snakeskin, and assorted beaded trims, feathers and crystals.
